Salvation: The Greatest Gift

At Thrive Church, we believe salvation is the cornerstone of a life filled with purpose, hope, and eternal peace. It’s the ultimate demonstration of God’s love and grace, freely given to all who believe in Him.

What is Salvation?

Salvation is God’s gift of eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. It’s the rescue from sin and separation from God, and the beginning of a relationship with Him that lasts forever. The Bible says:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8

Why Do We Need Salvation?

Every person has sinned and fallen short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). Sin creates a gap between us and God, but through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, that gap is bridged. His death and resurrection provide a way for us to be forgiven and restored to a loving relationship with God.

How Can I Receive Salvation?

Receiving salvation is as simple as ABC:

1. Admit that you are a sinner in need of God’s grace (Romans 3:23).

2. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for your sins and rose again (John 3:16).

3. Confess your faith in Jesus and invite Him into your life as your Savior (Romans 10:9-10).

A Prayer for Salvation

“Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner, and I need Your grace. I believe You died for my sins and rose again so that I could have eternal life. I confess You as my Lord and Savior and invite You into my life. Help me to follow You and live according to Your purpose. Amen.”
